Be sure and attend the New Orleans Gay Men's Chorus concert, which will be held at the church on Saturday, June 3, at 7:30pm. The theme for their spring concert is Lights! Camera! Sing!: A Night of Songs From the Silver Screen. Advance tickets are available at nogmc.com or at the door.

June 11 is the annual Pride service, featuring a small group of singers singing a Dolly Parton song from the movie TransAmerica

On June 18, John Wilkinson will be the soloist for a song about fatherhood by Ben Folds.

If you're interested in singing in the gospel service on Sunday, August 6, please note that rehearsals for the gospel choir begin on Wednesday, July 12 at 6:30 pm. Practices will run for four weeks, including a Saturday practice on August 5. Marie Flowers will again direct this service. Joining the gospel choir is a great experience with a fun group of people. If you don't normally have time to sing with the regular choir, consider joining the gospel choir this summer. Gospel choir is open to all.

Would you like to help run the sound booth during Sunday services? We're looking for a few sound techs. You’ll receive training and help as you learn how the microphones work, and how to use the sound system. Please contact music.office@unitarianchurchbr.com, or office@unitarianchurchbr.com.

We also have openings for flowers this summer. If you have a special person or event to commemorate, consider donating flowers for Sunday services. To sign up, inquire at the Congregational Care table in the fellowship hall between services.
