Some somewhat unrelated things to think about:

As of June 1 our Director of Religious Education, The Reverend Beth Williams, and Communication Director, Dottie Kelly, have retired from serving our church.  Also, our Information Technology Director, Neil Stoltzfus, has announced his retirement.  Neal will be working with us over the remainder of 2017 to finish some projects and to put a transition plan in place. These three retirements are not connected. It means that there is a lot of transition in our congregation. Please be patient. Please be kind. Please be generous with your time and energy. The staff has been hard at work finding new people to take on these roles, but with this level of transition it will take time.

This month for the first time in its history, our Unitarian Universalist Association will have its General Assembly in New Orleans. It’s not too late to register. If you can’t make it for the whole week, you can come down for a day. If you can’t do that, you can watch online.

This month marks the 1year anniversary of the Orlando massacre and the 11month anniversary of our atrocious summer. Please take care of yourselves this summer. Please know that this church is here for you.
