Each year around the holiday season, I get reflective and think about the wonderful things in my life. I have to say that I am thankful for the service you all have allowed me to provide to the church this year. It has been challenging at times but more than anything, it has been fulfilling.

The Greater Baton Rouge Bank's website notes that it "would be unable to provide food to the many children, seniors and families facing hunger in our community without thousands of volunteer hours each year." Volunteers from our church help to provide some of those hours, as was the case when our

Our shared offering for the month of November is Iris Domestic Violence Center.

This has been a very busy past few months and is a very exciting time in the church. The sanctuary renovation is under way and scheduled to be complete by the end of the year. We have accomplished much so far this year and with only two months remaining, we have much more to go.
